If you want to train your students to the highest recreational level in the PADI system of diver education, you will want to be a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. It will allow you to take your students out to more adventurous dive sites and pursue the types of diving that you are interested in.
Being a Master Scuba Diver Trainer will definitely help improve your work credentials as most dive resorts employ PADI MSDT for the extra spectrum of courses and specialties they can teach. If you can’t attend the whole PADI MSDT Prep you can always consider one individual specialty rating and get certified as a specialty instructor.
At Thresher Cove we offer a big variety of PADI Specialty and Distinctive Specialty instructor ratings. For more information visit the Specialty Instructor section.
Gaining the rating of PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer is also a pre-requisite for becoming an PADI IDC Staff Instructor. You must have a PADI MSDT rating to become an instructor in Tec 50 Diver.
