Want to swap your office for for diving with Thresher Sharks?
Work while you travel the world diving?

While is is possible to complete the Divemaster course in just 3 weeks, we highly recommend you allow yourself 6-8 weeks.Movie A Dog’s Purpose (2017)
As an Divemaster intern you will work with us as part of our dive centre team, working towards completing the Dive-master criteria and well as supporting our current Divemasters guiding fun divers around the wonderful dive sites of Malapascua, supporting our instructors with students and learning how our dive shop and dive boats operate.
There will of course be the opportunity to fun dive when you’re not working, or you may just choose to relax in the beautiful grounds of Thresher Cove Resort in Malapascua Island.
As an intern you can take advantage of our discount pricing to take speciality courses such as Nitrox, Deep or Wreck. Just ask us, and we’ll tailor a package just for you.
Interns also receive special pricing on accommodation, food & drink here at the resort. So not only will you work in paradise, but you can also stay here.
In order to start the Divemaster program you will be a rescue diver with at least 40 dives and be 18 years or older, completed your EFR or other first aid course within the last 24 months.
NOT A RESCUE DIVER YET? Don’t worry, we can incorporate that into your package. In fact, we can take you all the way from non-diver to Divemaster.
